Ein Jahr nach dem Beginn der COVID-19 Pandemie wurde vereinbart, in allen Pfarreien des Kirchenkreises Bolenge einen Dankgottesdienst zu veranstalten, um Gott für seinen besonderen Schutz zu preisen. Er sollte zeitgleich zum Partnerschaftsgottesdienst in Dortmund gefeiert werden. Daher fand es der Superintendent, Pfarrer Jean Robert Ekonzo, angemessen, die folgenden Personen mit der Durchführung des Gottesdienstes im Zentrum der Pfarrei Bolenge zu betrauen:

Une année depuis l’apparition de COVID-19, il a été convenu d’organiser sur l’ensemble des paroisses du Poste de Bolenge des cultes d’action de grâce afin de louer Dieu pour sa protection particulière et ce en collaboration avec le District de Dortmund. On Sunday, June 6th, we celebrated a partnership service in the Reinoldikirche in Dortmund. Partners from numerous countries were represented with digital contributions and an impressive video of the diversity of ecumenical relationships was created. The video can still be viewed HERE.

Am Sonntag, dem 6. Juni haben wir in der Reinoldikirche in Dortmund einen Partnerschaftsgottesdienst gefeiert. Partner*innen aus zahlreichen Ländern waren mit digitalen Beiträgen vertreten und es ist ein beeindruckendes Video der Vielfalt der ökumenischen Beziehungen entstanden. On the eve of the 56th tour of the ambulance boat, the members of the team met in Bolenge. Together they mourn Pastor Dorothea Philipps, who died on June 19, 2021 at the age of 80 in Dortmund. Am Vorabend der 56. Tour des Ambulanzbootes kommen die Mitglieder des Teams in Bolenge zusammen. Gemeinsam trauern sie um Pfarrerin i.R. Dorothea Philipps, die am 19. Juni 2021 im Alter von 80 Jahren in Dortmund verstorben ist.
